Welcome to Riddle Pine Acres, an ideal home for the champions of the racing world. Grown into a large empire, it houses all types of thoroughbreds from big to small. Large barns and pastures cover over 200 acres of land, making it one of the larger farms, as needed for its horses, around.
AuctionsDue to the growing amount of horses Riddle Pine Acres owns, breeds and races, the farm has decided to begin monthly auctions. All yearlings, by the gorgeous stallions here, will be placed for sale depending on if the farm is willing to keep providing for them or not. Currently it is full.
It is important to follow all rules regarding the auctions. Those who do not will not be able to make a purchase or two.
Guidelines1) To make a "bid" on a horse, you must draw it as a full body image. While you do not need a background, it's a nice touch.
2) These horses
are yearlings! Do not draw them as a foal. You may draw them as adults but that is what they must stay from then on.
3) If, for some reason, you want to place your newly purchased yearling up for sale, please offer it back to Riddle Pine Acres first. We are the breeders and will take horses back that are no longer in good company.
4) Multiple bids can be made but each horse must be in its own drawing.
5) Riddle Pine Acres has the right to decline any application. Please remember this.
6) While all of these horses are bred to race, don't feel like it is needed. If you suddenly put them in as a draft horse or even a child's lesson horse
bad things may happen. These
are thoroughbreds, not quarter horse geldings.
7) These horses are meant for the HARPG but can be sold to those who are still waiting to be approved. Moments like those can take much time and we do understand this.
8) Winners will be chosen based on future plans for the horse, and creativity. Also a little bit of genetic knowledge, or at least an interest in being realistic will help your chances.
More guidelines will be added if needed.
Purchasing and Final DecisionsWhile you may already know, from the guidelines, that a full body shot is needed, you must include the following:
Name:Personality:Future Plans: (This
must be detailed! Just saying that the horse will flat race is not enough.)
Story: (of the moment leading up to the bid)
Winners will be chosen on a Friday, that way it isn't first come, first serve. This can be problematic, especially for those who may need more time to draw or come up with the written facts. Auctions close at 8 pm East Coast United States time.
Good luck!
